Join us for a weekend serving our community and showing others the transformational love of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 3:3 NLT – “Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.”
In the above passage, Paul calls the Corinthians a “living letter”, that is, a tangible, visible testimony of the power of Christ in their lives. Our prayer here at Lighthouse is that whatever we do whether that be inside or outside of church it would be a direct response to the Gospel. That when we look at the cross, and see what Jesus has done for us everything we do would then be a response to that impacting love.

Mission, Ministry and Service Dates
Project C.U.R.E. (Commission on Urgent Relief and Equipment) was founded in 1987 by Dr. James Jackson. His work put him face to face with the needs of the sick and dying. During a trip to Brazil, he visited a small clinic near Rio and learned that patients were often turned away due to a lack of basic medical supplies. Jackson was moved to action, making a promise to the clinic doctor that he would help provide relief to the people there.
From its humble beginnings in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has expanded to many other cities across the United States, maintaining large distribution warehouses in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Tennessee and smaller collection centers in several other states.
Today, Project C.U.R.E.’s work helps bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by empowering doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Through the compassion of its supporters, hospitals, rural clinics and community health centers all over the world are able to offer quality care and critical medical services to their most vulnerable patients, especially women and young children. Thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers nationwide, two to three cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouses every week.
With the help of so many that have the same passion and commitment to helping those in need, Project C.U.R.E. continues to deliver health and hope to the world.
Lighthouse partners with Project C.U.R.E. on a monthly basis in a vital ministry: To sort and pack medical supplies for transport to countries across the world. Participation in this ministry truly glorifies God while saving lives!
Mission and Ministry
Touching Africa Ministries is working with church and community leaders to develop programs and resources that will enhance and improve the quality of life for a people considered to be the poorest of the poor on earth. Touching Africa Ministries is a Non-Profit Public Charity, founded in 2008 by Dr. Michael and Ann Elliott. The Elliott’s have been working Ethiopia since 2005. By utilizing a variety of programs, we are reaching out to communities with the desire to truly make a difference in this needy region of the world.
Touching Africa Ministries is built on four foundations: Ministry; Medicine; Community Development; and Church Planting. The focus and goal of our ministry is to give a tangible expression of God’s love to the people of Ethiopia. The diversity and scope of our work is helping us change lives today, and we truly believe, for generations to come.
Lighthouse offers opportunities throughout the year to participate in this mission from the “bows and bracelets” ministry through onsite missions trips.
Future service opportunities will be found here or within our events calendar.
Mission and Ministry
Restore Innocence was founded as a faith-based organization in 2010 out of a desire to see young women in the United States provided with holistic aftercare in the wake of trafficking. They have formed invaluable and trusted relationships with law enforcement and gleaned from their experiences, which helped define the most pressing needs for survivors.
They found early on that even though awareness around this crime was slowly growing, and increased numbers of young people were being recovered each year, the bridge back to emotional, physical and relational wholeness was extremely difficult to locate and to cross.
From that point until today they have been dedicated to understanding and entering into the recovery journey for young survivors, supporting their rescue with their Restoration Bags ministry and contributing toward their restoration and reintegration through their Mentor Program ministry.
Since 2010 they have mentored nearly 40 young women in transformational relationships, and have provided 2,5oo Restoration Bags for victims across 45 states. In their own words they state: “We are humbled to serve the Lord and these courageous overcomers, and our desire is to honor Him always!”
Lighthouse enables our church body to participate in the Restoration Bags ministry. Stay tuned for service opportunities.
