Kids Ministries at Lighthouse Church
(0 – 5th grade)
At Lighthouse Church, we take great joy in welcoming children of all ages into our family of faith. Lighthouse Kids exists to partner with parents to show kids a big God who loves them, and communicate His truths to them at every phase of their lives. Our ministries for children are organized as follows:
- Nursery (0-3 years old)
- Pre-school (3-5 years old)
- Elementary (K-5th grade)
What We Teach
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. Our lessons are carefully crafted to cater to each age group, aiming to provide a spiritual foundation for your children as they grow.
In our Preschool environment, we teach three fundamental but powerful truths:
God Made Me.
God Loves Me.
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever.
Our Elementary environment builds on this foundation with teachings about who God is and what He has done, as revealed in the Bible. Children learn that God is wise, generous, loving, good, and so much more
Our Environments and Activities
Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, providing opportunities for them to make friends, and helping them grow in their faith. When you commit to attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith
Safety and Security
In Lighthouse Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why we have a secure check-in system at our Lighthouse Church location. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you’ll show the Lighthouse Kids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room.
Every Lighthouse Kids volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure
